Comcast Corp. has added north Texas PBS affiliate KERA to its HDTV lineup in the Dallas area, the MSO said Tuesday.
KERA joins local channels WFAA-TV (ABC), KTVT-TV (CBS), KXAS-TV (NBC) and enhanced wide-screen digital programming from Fox, as well as In Demand’s INHD and INHD2, Home Box Office, Showtime, Cinemax and ESPN HD.
KERA produces about 50 hours of original local programming each year, all shot in high-definition format.
