The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association announced the speakers for its upcoming Spring Symposium, “Engaging Employees for Success.”
The event will be held March 9 at the Westgate Hotel in San Diego.
Bill Geppert, regional vice president and general manager of Cox Communications Inc.’s San Diego system, will deliver a keynote address titled, “The Race to Workplace Excellence.”
A session titled “Attracting and Retaining the Best and the Brightest” will feature panelists Ann Owens, VP of global-rewards management at Qualcomm Inc.; Sam Bresler, VP of human resources, learning and leadership development for Science Applications International Corp.; Rosalyn O’Neal of Barnes, O’Neale & Associates; Valerie Chandler of Time Warner Cable; and Lyn Cason, partner at Warren & Morris Ltd.
Another session, “California Legal Update: Marching to the Beat of a Different Drummer,” will be moderated by Greg Drake of Time Warner Cable; Joe Freeman of Cox; Terry Greene of Simpson Delmore Greene LLP; and Michele Ballard Miller of the Miller Law Group.
