Independent telco TruVista Communications purchased two cable systems from Charter Communications in Chester and Camden, S.C., with about 7,900 subscribers for an undisclosed sum.
The deal was completed in two stages in the first and third quarters of this year, and it will boost TruVista’s subscriber base in the area to about 10,000 cable customers. TruVista, formerly Chester Telephone, is headquartered in Chester.
New York-based cable investment banker DH Capital served as the exclusive financial adviser to TruVista in the transaction.
