Acme Packet announced Wednesday that Charter Communications is using its Net-Net session-border controllers in its voice-over-Internet-protocol network.
Session-border controllers are devices that manage VoIP calls at access and interconnection points in a service provider’s network.
Acme Packet said its Net-Net gear is now used by seven of the top 10 MSOs in North America.
