Charter Communications Inc. and Leapfrog Online are teaming up on a national online “e-tail” program to drive subscriptions to the MSO’s high-speed-data service.
The two companies said they will drive online potential “Charter High Speed Internet Service” customers through geographically targeted Web sites and online networks, search engines and contextual placements, among other online outlets.
In addition, relevant promotional offers will be presented to each individual consumer.
“Charter Communications’ online customer-acquisition program will assure that their customers’ experience is relevant and streamlined and capture new consumers in markets that they may not have been able to tap yet through other marketing means,” Leapfrog vice president of client service and development Cass Baker said in a prepared statement.
