Charter Board Plays Conn Game

Charter Communications Inc. said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Tuesday that it has elected Vulcan Inc. executive vice president of investment management W. Lance Conn to its board of directors.

Vulcan is the personal-investment vehicle of Charter chairman Paul Allen.

Conn replaces former Charter director Allen & Co. executive VP and managing director Nancy Peretsman, who resigned earlier this month after her firm was selected as an adviser to Adelphia Communications Corp. in its ongoing auction.
