ESPN has lined up a coterie of returning and new sponsors for its sports awards show.
The 19th annual ESPY Awards, scheduled for July 13 at 9 p.m. (ET) on ESPN and ESPNHD from L.A. Live, will once be presented by Captital One and Castrol Edge. The pair also gained exposure as co-presenting sponsors of the event's nomination show and voting.
Hosted by Saturday Night Live's head writer and "Weekend Update" anchor Seth Meyers, this year's ESPY telecast will feature returning associate sponsors EA Sports, Gatorade, GMC, Hennessy, MGD64 and SuperCuts.
Hennessy's package includes its sponsorship of "Vault of Secrets," the Tuesday night pre-party hosted by Serena Williams, while MGD64 will return as presenting sponsor of the official ESPYs post party.
First-time associate sponsors include Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey, K-Swiss, 20th Century Fox, and HP, with the latter presenting the official Social Media Lounge at the ESPY Style Studio.
In addition to on-site hospitality opportunities, sponsorship benefits include media components across many of ESPN's screens, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN.com and ESPN's Mobile web site, as well as ESPN Radio and ESPN The Magazine. Sponsors also participate in the ESPY Celebrity Golf Classic benefitting the Jimmy V Foundation.
