The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Interactive Media Peer Group announced Friday that Cablevision Systems Corp. and TV Land have won Interactive TV Emmy Awards.
TV Land was honored for the “2005 TV Land Awards All Access Pass” program, a companion broadband Web site running concurrently with the TV-awards program. The site featured a 3-D virtual theater of video moments of the awards show from backstage, rehearsal and red-carpet vantage points.
Cablevision was honored for its iO: Interactive Optimum digital service, which includes HDTV, video-on-demand and enhanced-TV content.
The awards will be presented Sept. 11 during the Primetime Creative Arts Show at the Shrine Auditorium in Hollywood.
