Cablevision Systems Corp. has elevated Amy Groveman to senior vice president and deputy general counsel, Cable & Communications.
Groveman's promotion comes in recognition of her leadership role in managing all of the operations-related legal matters for Cablevision's Cable & Communications and Optimum Lightpath divisions.
Previously, Groveman served as vice president, law at Cable & Communications. She joined Cablevision in 1993 as an associate counsel.
"We're very pleased to be announcing this well-deserved promotion. It reflects the significant contributions Amy has made to Cablevision and its legal department," said David Ellen, executive vice president and general counsel, Cable & Communications, in a statement.
