Cablevision Commemorates Power To Learn's 10 Anniversary With Essay Program

Cablevision's Power to Learn education initiative is celebrating its 10th anniversary of supporting K-12 classes with an essay contest that will net five winners home technology makeovers.
Families are invited to submit an essay of 500 words or less focused on technology's significant impact on learning, both at home and at school. Five broods in Cablevision's metro New York service area will win a complete home technology makeover that includes a passel of 10 prizes to celebrate the initiatives10 years, including a 42-inch high-definitionTV, an Apple MacBook an iPod touch. All prizes will be personally delivered and installed by Optimum.
Essays will be judged on originality and creativity by a panel of judges. Entries can be submitted to the www.powertolearn.com/techmakeover Web site.
