Cable Television Laboratories Inc. announced that it will hold a June 7 meeting at its headquarters to distribute prototype software that provides accurate analysis of Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification network usage to the DOCSIS vendor community.
The information will include key ideas behind the software and terms and conditions associated with the source-code use, CableLabs said.
Cable operators have requested that CableLabs provide the source code to vendors in order to further develop DOCSIS-network analysis.
