Cable Pioneers List Embraces 19 Names
Charter Communications Inc. public-relations maven David Andersen, former Cable TV Montgomery owner Gustave Hauser and Time Warner Cable senior vice president Kevin Leddy are among this year’s 19 inductees into the Cable TV Pioneers, according to co-organizer Leslie Read.
They’ll be inducted April 3 at a banquet in San Francisco during the National Show.
Read noted that the class includes “cable operators, engineers, marketeers, technicians, deal makers, bean-counters, presidents, advice-givers, peddlers and an association organizer.”
