Cable One Inc. will use software from Sigma Systems to power its voice-over-Internet-protocol rollout, the operational-support-systems vendor said.
Cable One will use Sigma’s service management platform, VoIP service package, service-profile manager and voice client services center.
The software covers order and resource management, service provisioning and intercarrier gateway integration, including dial tone, voice mail, long-distance service provider selection and calling features. The service-profile manager provides CSRs a service order entry portal to track the life cycle of a customer’s order.
