Bush Promotes (Catherine) Martin

It’s been a good week for Kevin Martin’s family.

Last Wednesday, President Bush named Kevin Martin chairman of the Federal Communications Commission. On Tuesday, Bush named Martin’s wife, Catherine, deputy assistant to the president and deputy communications director for policy and planning.

Catherine Martin has worked for Vice President Dick Cheney, in addition to stints at the Commerce Department and the National Economic Council.
