Bright House Networks has appointed Karen Broach as regional vice president of operations for its Birmingham and Indianapolis divisions.
Broach, who had been serving as Birmingham division president, now has oversight for the operations of the MSO units in both of those markets.
"This approach allows us to enhance our positioning within both divisions, strengthens our operations by sharing information and best practices while furthering the existing contributions of key leaders within our service areas," said executive vice president of cable operations Kevin Hyman in making the annoucement.
Noted Broach: "I look forward to working with the Indianapolis team and plan to take steps toward enhancing customer service and creating a stronger alignment between customer care and our competitive strategy. I am energized and excited about this tremendous opportunity."
As president of the Birmingham division, Broach had full managerial oversight of the operation, including strategic planning, budget development and accountability, financial analysis, audit compliance, regulatory compliance, human resources, and customer care activities.
A 24-year cable industry veteran, Broach also served as vice president/general manager of Charter Communications' southern Wisconsin division. Her career has also included stints at Time Warner Cable and Fanch Communications.
