Bright House Brings In Williams As GM Of Indiana Unit

Bright House Networks has named Don Williams vice president, general manager of its Indiana unit.

In this role, Williams, who had been vice president of operations support for Time Warner Cable's San Diego division, is responsible for the overall management of the Bright House Networks Indiana area, overseeing all administrative, operational, financial, marketing and technical functions. Williams will report to Karen Broach, regional vice president of Bright House Networks.

"Don has a great deal of experience in telecom operations and engineering management, and we are pleased to welcome him to the Bright House Networks team," said Broach in a statement. "He is an exceptional team-builder and leader, and will be a great asset to our Indiana market."

At Time Warner Cable, Williams' responsibilities included operational support for the division's systems in San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Williams has also worked with Daniels Cablevision and United Artist Cable.

He attended the FCC Commercial Licensing program in Electronics and Industrial Physics at Fresno Community College, and was a director on the board of the Technology Training Foundation of America. He previously served on the board of the San Diego Chapter of the Society of Telecommunications Engineers.
