Bright House Networks added Spanish-language cable network Galavisión in the Tampa Bay, Fla., area on digital channel 79, the network said in a release.
The two parties held a ceremony to announce the addition, attended by Carlos Calderón, host of Galavisión’s interactive music show, Acceso Máximo (All Access); Kevin Hyman, division president at Bright House; and Iris Gonzalez, multicultural-community-relations manager at the MSO.
Galavisión said Acceso Máximo would, for the first time, air live from Tampa Nov. 17.
Univision Communications-owned Galavisión claims the biggest distribution of any U.S. Spanish-language cable network, available to more than 7 million Hispanic subscribers.
