Bravo Gains Geisser As SVP Of Communications

Bravo Media has hired veteran media relations executive Jennifer Geisser as senior vice president, Bravo Communications.
In her new role, Geisser will oversee all of Bravo's ongoing strategic communications for the network, including programming, digital and merchandising initiatives. Geisser previously held that same title at both Hallmark Channel and Court TV, the forbear of TruTV.

Geisser will report to Bravo Media president Frances Berwick and Cameron Blanchard, executive vice president, Communications, NBCUniversal Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media.

"Jenn is a great addition to the Bravo team, combining an impressive industry background with a deep passion for the brand" said Berwick.

Added Blanchard, "Jenn's extensive media contacts and vast experience make her a perfect fit for Bravo. She will be a great asset and leader as we continue to promote Bravo's pop culture brand and innovative programming throughout the industry.

Prior to joining Bravo, Geisser owned her own public relations and corporate events firm, Geisser Media, LLC. The company specialized in brand marketing, special events, corporate communications, product launches and strategic partnerships. Previously, Geisser held the role of senior vice president, communications for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, where she developed and executed strategic public relations campaigns targeting both trade and consumer media.

Before that, Geisser was senior vice president of communications for Court TV where she oversaw publicity efforts for trade, business and consumer press and played a key role in extending and communicating the brand. In addition, Geisser also held positions with WeTV, AMC, CBS Television and Dan Klores & Associates.
