BET said it its 106 & Park program pulled a 1.2 rating and 1 million households Tuesday thanks to guests 50 Cent and Kanye West. The rival hip-hop artist both released new albums this week.
The show, which also featured a surprise visit from Jay-Z, attracted 1.3 million total viewers.
BET said the 106 & Park episode was its top music program of the season. It topped its average rating this season by 89%.
106 & Park was also a strong lead-in for Hell Date, which drew a 1.2 rating and 1.1 million households. The airing of Hell Date performed 58% better than its usual Tuesday average.
