BellSouth Corp. and PDI- SAT will jointly market and deploy voice, data and DirecTV Inc. direct-broadcast satellite service services to the residential multiple-dwelling unit market across the regional Bell operating company’s service territory under terms of a nonexclusive agreement announced Wednesday.
PDI- SAT is a DirecTV master system operator based in Boca Raton, Fla.
“BellSouth's comprehensive portfolio of voice and data products, coupled with PDI-SAT's ability to offer customers digital-quality, multichannel-TV programming from DirecTV, will provide the multidwelling-unit market with a dependable source for the services that meet their needs," BellSouth president of community technologies Phil Jacobs said in a prepared statement.
“Developers, managers and residents of multidwelling developments in the Southeast are looking for a one-stop shop for the latest and most reliable communications and entertainment services,” he added. “BellSouth and PDI-SAT will work to deliver a complete package of services to this growing market.”
