AT&T U-verse Nets VOD, Multiview App With Univision's World Cup Coverage

Univision and AT&T U-verse have reached an agreement whereby the telco will offer on-demand content and a multiview application of the Spanish-language programmer's coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
In addition to delivering live access to all 64 matches from South Africa via Univision, TeleFutura and Galavisión, AT&T will provide comprehensive Univision Spanish-language content in the U-verse TV On Demand library, as well as exclusive Mexican national team content across multiple screens.
In its first Spanish-language TV app, U-verse will present Univision Multiview that will enable users to simultaneously watch the Univision, TeleFutura and Galavisión networks, as well as Univision and TeleFutura stations, featuring World Cup matches and content. The app also features athlete bios, photos, groupings and the latest team standings from FIFA's top futbol tourney in Spanish.
The Univision Multiview is available on channel 3001 to all U-Verse TV customers at no extra charge.
