Values-based video-on-demand purveyor EnLive has struck a carriage deal with cable operator Armstrong.
Under the pact, financial terms of which were not disclosed, Armstrong will add EnLive to its on-demand platform on Oct. 1. The service, which offers an array of family-friendly fare across multiple genres, will be available to the MSO’s nearly 240,000 subscribers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia for $4.99 monthly. Customers will gain unlimited access to the content.
EnLive said it provides a single destination for family friendly values-based programming without subscribers having to search through the guide across hundreds of channels and choices. Programming highlights include The Story Keepers and Bug Time Adventures for children; documentaries The Karen and Remember Alabama; such films as Grandma’s Hands and The Sky Under the Dust; lifestyle fare You Are the Supermodel and The Cooking Cardiologist; plus sports shows like Sold Out on Super Sunday.
EnLive is a service of Christian Library on Demand, which bills its mission as “restor[ing] family television time with safe, family-friendly content for audiences of all ages, as well as providing a faith-based library for a general audience. The Denver-based Christian Library On Demand is making its programming available on multiple delivery platforms from cable and satellite to streaming and mobile.
''On-demand usage continues to grow each month,” said Jeff Ross, president of Armstrong in a statement. “We’re delighted to offer EnLive as an additional wholesome entertainment option to our customers.”
Noted EnLive founder and CEO Terrence Lovett: “It is a privilege to be forging an alliance with Armstrong, and together, we are committed to filling the void in values-based programming on TV. Noteworthy is that over 80 percent of EnLive content has never been seen before on cable or satellite.”
