Houston --Antronix and Proxilliant will jointly develop and market the latter’s Cable Access Management System, the companies announced Wednesday at the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers’ Conference on Emerging Technologies here.
Proxilliant's CAMS managed ingress-suppression technology will now be built directly into Antronix's taps.
“This capability provides the industry’s first complete system for real-time monitoring, analysis, correlation, reporting and active management of the HFC [hybrid fiber-coaxial] network and advanced services, while continuously suppressing ingress close to its source," Antronix founder and CEO Danny Tang said in a prepared statement.
