Cox Communications Inc. has added Hispanic children’s network Sorpresa! in 23 more markets.
Sorpresa! targets six- to 14-year-olds, and the network also features morning and afternoon programs that are popular with pre-schoolers and evening programs that reach older teens. Its shows come from children's producers around the globe, including Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Spain and Chile.
The 23 Cox markets that will receive Sorpresa! programming are: Bakersfield, Eureka and Santa Barbara, Calif.; Berryville/Eureka Springs, Clarksville and Tucson, Ariz.; north Virginia; Abilene/Sweetwater, Amarillo, Big Spring, Conroe, Gainesville, Georgetown/Round Rock, Huntsville, Lubbock, Midland, Plainview, San Angelo and Sulphur Springs, Texas; Manchester, Conn.; West Warwick, R.I.; Fort Smith, Ark.; and Sun Valley, Idaho.
