Also new is a “Continue Watching” ribbon that lets subs pick up where left off, as well as an “On Now” tab that provides quick access to all shows currently airing.

On the Windows 10 front, the pre-loaded version of Sling TV, which gives the OTT TV service more exposure, offers access to its full lineup, including individual tiers such as Sling Orange, Sling Blue, the Best of Spanish TV, and Sling TV’s slate of international TV offerings.

Dish Network does not break out Sling TV subscribers, but Leichtman Research Group estimates that Sling TV ended 2016 with 1.18 million subscribers.

Sling TV is offering a free preview of those services through September 14, giving them a chance to catch Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which premieres on Starz this Saturday (September 10) at 9 p.m. ET.

Sling TV has also extended support for Windows 10-powered PCs and tablets. That new app also includes the new UI that Sling TV launched in June, plus some twists that are unique to the service’s Windows 10 experience, Ben Weinberger, chief product officer of Sling TV, explained in this blog post.

Among the Windows 10 bells and whistles are “Live Tiles” that provide updates to the viewer’s “Favorites” and “Continue Watching” ribbons when pinned to the start menu, Cortana voice integration, a vertical main menu, and compatibility with both touch and non-touch Windows 10 devices.

Sling TV also runs on Apple TV (fourth-gen), Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV stick, Roku players and Roku TVs, Channel Master’s DVR+, Google’s Chromecast streaming adapter, the Xbox One, Android TV-powered devices, and iOS, Android and Fire mobile devices.
