Las Vegas -- Westinghouse Electronics is broadening its smart TV horizons with a new family of 4K-capable TVs that are powered by Android TV.

The 43-inch model will carry an MSRP of $325, while the higher-end 65-inch version will fetch $799, according to an official here at CES, where Westinghouse was showing off a model at Sunday evening’s CES Unveiled event.

The new Android TVs will support apps from Google play, as well as voice search/navigation and integration for Google Cast and Google Assistant. Westinghouse’s Android TV models will also build in 3 GB of memory, WiFi, three HDMI ports, component/composite connections, and an optical out connection.

The deal expands the number of TV makers that have adopted Android TV. Other examples include Sony and Sharp.

Westinghouse (along with Seiki and Element Electronics) used last year’s CES to announce it would launch a line of “Fire TV Edition” 4K models that use Amazon’s platform.

Westinghouse also makes a more basic smart TV with a small set of apps that uses its “Muse” platform.

An official said it the company is also open to the possibility of developing TVs that run the Roku operating system, but Westinghouse has not announced any plans to do so.
