The Hallmark Movie Channel will premiere Wedding Planner Mystery, an original film starring Erica Durance and Brandon Beemer, on Saturday, August 16 at 9 p.m. ET. 

The film, based on Deborah Donnelly’s novel Veiled Threats, follows the channel’s familiar formula of adapting works of popular fiction such as its series based on Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove.

Wedding Planner Mystery tells the story of wedding planner Carnegie Kincaid (Durance), who is framed for the murder and kidnapping of a high-profile bride (Chelan Simmons). Beemer plays an attorney and Kincaid’s love interest.

The film was produced by Reel One Entertainment, with Tom Berry and Meyer Shwarztstein serving as executive producers and Gilles Laplante as producer. It was directed by Ron Oliver and written by Darcy Myers.
