                                <figure class="van-image-figure pull-" data-bordeaux-image-check ><div class='image-full-width-wrapper'><div class='image-widthsetter' ><p class="vanilla-image-block" style="padding-top:56.25%;"><img id="4jH5sAwqCjicCEabA29WZV" name="" alt="" src="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/4jH5sAwqCjicCEabA29WZV.png" mos="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/4jH5sAwqCjicCEabA29WZV.png" align="" fullscreen="" width="" height="" attribution="" endorsement="" class="pull-"></p></div></div></figure><p>The National Basketball Association  expanded its content partnership with Twitter that features live programming and more video to Twitter, Vine and Periscope, the league announced Tuesday. </p><p>The NBA and Twitter will deliver a free live stream of a new weekly NBA pregame show with elements that were created specifically to drive Twitter conversation, said network officials.</p><p> Ahead of the 2016-17 season, the NBA will announce an additional to-be-determined show that will also stream exclusively on Twitter.</p><p>“We’re excited about bringing live content to Twitter, which has proven to be an ideal destination for real-time sports conversations,” said NBA commissioner Adam Silver in a statement.  “We’ve seen technology bring fans closer to our game, teams and players in ways we could have only imagined a decade ago. This expanded partnership will help feed our fans’ growing demand for the NBA by more deeply integrating the league across Twitter’s many platforms.”</p>

                                <p>Netflix will team with social media celebrity Cameron Dallas to create an unscripted series based on his life, the streaming service said Wednesday.</p><p>The series will follow Dallas, who found fame through developing content on the video-themed Vine social media service, as he and his family navigate the next stages of his career. Dallas has a fan base of over 35 million followers across five different social media platforms, according to Netflix.</p><p>The series is executively produced by Cameron Dallas and Bart Bordelon, as well as  Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth of Magical Elves and Brillstein Entertainment Partners Ben Curtis, Sanford Wernick and Jon Liebman. </p>

                                <p>Despite double-digit declines in its linear TV ratings, Sunday’s <em>MTV Music Video Awards</em> generated more than 73 million views across multiple platforms, the network said.</p><p>The live special drew more than 19 million total visits on MTV Digital, up 23% compared with last year, according to network officials, with streams to the MTV app increasing by 643% year to year.</p><p>The Miley Cyrus-hosted show also posted big numbers on social media sites, generating more than 100 million loops on online video sharing service Vine and garnering 64 million interactions on Instagram, MTV said.</p><p>The VMAs also pulled in 39 million Facebook interactions related to the show from 16 million Facebook users. On Twitter, 2.2 million people posted 21.4 million tweets about the show, with nearly 11.8 million people viewing those Tweets a total of 676 million times, the network said.</p><p>The show also generated 2.1 million views on YouTube.</p><p>The strong social media numbers compare favorably to the steep, consecutive year-to-year declines in television viewers to 5 million this year from 8.3 million in 2014 and 10.1 million 2013.</p><p>Overall, the show drew 9 million viewers across 10 networks that aired it live, below the 10 million viewers the show generated across four network the year prior, according to Nielsen.</p>
