Vadio said it has struck a deal with Warner Music Group that gives the video streaming platform and its distribution partners access to “thousands” of music videos from  WMG’s roster of artists.

Vadio said WMG, which has a catalog of more than 1 million copyrights worldwide, marks its first major music company partner that will offer content on its streaming platform.

Billboard reported this week that WMG is also nearing a deal with Vevo.

Vadio said the linking of Warner’s music video catalog with Vadio’s curation platform, ChannelMaker, allows Vadio partners to curate complete music video channels using WMG’s library. Vadio said its platform powers more than 80 streaming music channels.

“Vadio’s extensive distribution network of video channels expands the potential for Warner Music artists to connect with new fans, while creating new revenue streams on our artists’ behalf,” Ron Wilcox, executive counsel, business Affairs, strategic and digital initiatives at  WMG, said in a statement.

“We believe video will get integrated into every digital media destination. Therefore we are making it possible for artists, brands, and media partners to deliver high quality videos by making Warner’s video library viewable across large scale consumer experiences,” added Vadio CEO Bryce Clemmer.

Vadio has raised about $10.77 million, according to CrunchBase.
