                                <p>The UFC has reached a three-year agreement with Roy Jones Jr. (RJJ) Boxing Promotions to stream up to 72 pro boxing matches on its UFC Fight Pass streaming service.</p><figure class="van-image-figure pull-" data-bordeaux-image-check ><div class='image-full-width-wrapper'><div class='image-widthsetter' ><p class="vanilla-image-block" style="padding-top:56.25%;"><img id="RdiPKBMFyZhgechhnVYnJf" name="" alt="" src="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/RdiPKBMFyZhgechhnVYnJf.png" mos="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/RdiPKBMFyZhgechhnVYnJf.png" align="" fullscreen="" width="" height="" attribution="" endorsement="" class="pull-"></p></div></div></figure><p>UFC Fight Pass, which offers live and library content from the mixed martial arts company, will stream its first live event of the new deal on Jan. 31 with the Aston Palicte-Jose “Chiquiro” Martinez Junior Bantamweight Title Eliminator fight, according to the UFC.</p><p>“I’ve always been a big fan of Roy Jones Jr. and I’m excited to be in business with him,” said UFC President Dana White in a statement. “Everyone knows I’m looking to get into boxing, and I look forward to the future with Roy and using Fight Pass to live stream these exciting fights to our subscribers.”</p><p>Fight Pass is available on personal computers, iOS and Android mobile devices, Apple TV, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Roku, Samsung Smart TVs, LG Smart TVs, and Sony TVs with Android TV, according to the UFC. </p>

                                <p>The UFC will celebrate its 25 anniversary with a 25-part documentary series that will stream on its UFC Fight Pass subscription video on demand service, the company said Thursday.</p><p>The <em>UFC 25 Years in Short</em> series, debuting Sept. 17, will feature 25 UFC stories that will examine the company’s evolution, characters and influence, said the organization. </p><figure class="van-image-figure pull-" data-bordeaux-image-check ><div class='image-full-width-wrapper'><div class='image-widthsetter' ><p class="vanilla-image-block" style="padding-top:56.25%;"><img id="yNSjVvV2rJmEyi9yfHEW3C" name="" alt="" src="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/yNSjVvV2rJmEyi9yfHEW3C.jpg" mos="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/yNSjVvV2rJmEyi9yfHEW3C.jpg" align="" fullscreen="" width="" height="" attribution="" endorsement="" class="pull-"></p></div></div></figure><p>New episodes of the series will be rolled out on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in just over an eight-week span, culminating with the final film on Nov. 12, UFC’s official 25 anniversary.</p><p>The UFC will offer a preview of one of the series' episodes -- <em>Country boy Can Survive: The Story of Matt Hughes’ Fight for Survival</em> – Sept. 14 on its YouTube channel.</p><p>“This project is a fun way to tell the history of UFC,” said UFC President Dana White in a statement. “Each one of these films is linked to a pivotal moment in the UFC timeline, and together they represent our complete story. We’re working with some amazingly talented directors and producers on this project, and I think UFC fans will really enjoy these films.”<br/><br/></p>

UFC.TV will also add new new payment methods for live PPV events and  UFC Fight Pass, which starts at $9.99 per month.</p><p>"Signing another multi-year agreement with UFC illustrates our commitment and ability to create, deliver and grow meaningful experiences for our customers, and furthers our 'land and expand' growth strategy,” NeuLion CEO Dr. Kanaan Jemili, said in a statement. “We look forward to continuing the evolution of next-generation video experiences with our valued partner, UFC."</p><p>"We are in 180 countries and over 1 billion homes worldwide, requiring a continued focus on new and emerging technology to meet viewer demand,” added UFC president Dana White. “As a partner, NeuLion has supported the growth of our digital business from the ground up and, together, we are delivering a best-in-class digital experience to our fans worldwide."</p><p>Last month, NeuLion posted Q2 revenues of $22.7 million, up 69%, attributing growth to new customers. Revenues specifically tied to its digital platform grew 16%.</p><p>As part of a strategy to build its OTT and 4K efforts, NeuLion bought video encoding/delivering specialist DivX in January for $62.5 million.</p>

The new agreement, coming shortly after UFC 182 (pictured) not only ensures that the UFC's biggest events remain available to residential pay--per-view households, but for the first time affords affiliates electronic sell-through rights of the cards, as well as the ability to proffer subscription service UFC Fight Pass to their authenticated video subscribers. </p><p>In addtion, the deal will see InDemand play a greater role in helping affiliates sell UFC PPV cards to commercial establishments in their territories.</p><p>In Demand said it will deliver every UFC PPV event and purchasers will enjoy longer viewership windows via video on demand and TV Everywhere.. In Demand said TVE availability will vary initially, depending on when affiliates add UFC action to the platforms.</p><p>All events are offered in both standard- and high-definition formats, plus a separate Spanish-language feed.</p><p>“We have been proud to be a part of UFC’s growth from their launch on PPV to their current status as the gold-standard for Mixed Martial Arts, worldwide,' said In Demand executive vice president of proramming and general counsel Michael Berman.
