Prime Video has dropped the original trailer for its upcoming drama series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart starring Sigourney Weaver. 

The seven-part series, based on Holly Ringland's best-selling novel, debuts August 4 and stars Weaver as June Hart, who takes in her granddaughter Alice after her parents perish in a mysterious fire. According to Prime, Alice over several decades learns that there are secrets within secrets about her and her family's past. 

Along with Weaver, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart stars Alycia Debnam-Carey, Asher Keddie, Leah Purcell and Frankie Adams.

The series is executive produced by Weaver, Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Sarah Lambert and Glendyn Ivin. 

HBO Max will return to school in November with the second season of its comedy series The Sex Lives of College Girls.

The 10-episode second season of the Mindy Kaling-created series will debut November 17 and will again chronicle the lives of four college roommates attending a prestigious New England college.

According to HBO Max, the girls will look to tackle the challenges thrown their way at the end of season one while facing the next semester filled with new faces, parties and predicaments, according to the streaming service.

The series stars Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Reneé Rapp, and Alyah Chanelle Scott, as well as Mekki Leeper, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Lolo Spencer, Renika Williams and Mitchell Slaggert.

The Sex Lives of College Girls is executive produced by Kaling, Justin Noble and Howard Klein. ■

Prime Video saddles up for a Western revenge drama in a new trailer for original series The English, debuting November 11.

The six-episode series stars Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer as two people seeking their own slice of revenge coming together in 1890 middle America to cross a violent landscape built on dreams and blood, according to the streaming service.

The series also stars Rafe Spall, Tom Hughes, Toby Jones, and Ciarán Hinds. The English is executive produced by Hugo Blick, Emily Blunt, Greg Brenman, and Colin Wratten, according to Prime Video.■ 

Emmy-winning limited series The White Lotus shifts to Sicily for more hijinks among well-to-do guests at a posh hotel, according to a new trailer for the show's second season, debuting on HBO and HBO Max October 30. 

Jennifer Coolidge reprises her 2022 Emmy-winning role as Tanya in the second installment of the series, which follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.

A family separated by a cataclysmic world event serves as the backdrop for the trailer for Peacock's thriller series Last Light, debuting September 8.

The five-episode series, based on Alex Scarrow’s best-selling novel of the same name, stars Matthew Fox as a scientist who, while on a business trip to the Middle East and separated from his family, is thrust into the middle of an apocalyptic event when the world's oil supply is shut down.

Also starring in the series is Joanne Froggatt, Alyth Ross, Taylor Fay, Amber Rose Revah, Victor Alli, Tom Wlaschiha and Hakeem Jomah.

Sylvester Stallone plays a reluctant superhero forced out of hiding to fight crime in a new trailer for Prime Video's original movie Samaritan, debuting August 26 on the streaming service.

The film stars Stallone as super-powered vigilante Samaritan, who was thought to have been killed 20 years ago in a fiery battle with his rival but instead has been hiding in fictional Granite City in plain sight. A chance encounter with a young neighbor, along with rising crime in the city, forces Samaritan out of the shadows, according to Prime Video.

Along with Stallone, Samaritan also stars  Javon “Wanna” Walton, Pilou Asbæk, Dascha Polanco and Moises Arias.

Stallone is also set to star in Paramount Plus's mafia-themed original series Tulsa King, debuting this November. 

Apple TV Plus has dropped a trailer for its dark comedy series Bad Sisters, which debuts on the streaming service Aug. 9.

The series, from producer Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe), follows three, tight-knit sisters who are under investigation from an insurance company looking to confirm how their brother-in-law died-- considering each had reason to kill him, according to Apple TV Plus.

The ensemble cast for the series includes Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene and Eve Hewson.

Bad Sisters is executive produced by Horgan, Brett Baer, Dave Finkel, Faye Dom, Clelia Mountford, Malin-Sarah Gorzin, Bert Hamelinck and Michael Sagol, said the streaming service.

Prime Video Tuesday pitched a new trailer for its women's baseball-themed series A League of Their Own, debuting Aug. 12 on the streaming service.

The series, a reimagining of the 1992 film of the same name produced by Penny Marshall and starring Tom Hanks, follows the exploits of a generation of women who dreamed of playing professional baseball, said the service.

The cast for the series includes Abbi Jacobson, Chante Adams, D'Arcy Carden, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Roberta Colindrez.

A League of Their Own is executive produced by Will Graham, Abbi Jacobson, Hailey Wierengo, Desta Tedros Reff and Jamie Babbit.

Prime Video on Aug. 12 will stream all eight episodes of the series, which is produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television, in association with Field Trip Productions.■

FX will debut the fourth and final season if its Emmy-winning comedy series Atlanta on September 4, according to a new series teaser trailer.

The series, which ended its third season this past May, reunites series stars Donald Glover, Brian Tyree Henry, LaKeith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz as they return home after spending most of season three in Europe.

According to FX, season four finds the four friends back in their hometown, "but the question is, has Atlanta changed or have they?"

Atlanta earned three 2022 Emmy Award nominations, including a Best Actor in a Comedy nod for Glover, who won a 2017 Emmy in the category.

An LGBTQIA+ conversion camp is the focus of a new trailer for Peacock's original horror film They/Them, debuting on the streaming service August 5.

The film stars Kevin Bacon as the head of a conversion camp attended by several queer and trans campers. According to Peacock, as the camp's methods become more increasingly psychologically unsettling -- and a mysterious killer starts claiming victims -- the campers must work together to protect themselves.

Also starring in the film are Anna Chlumsky, Theo Germaine, Carrie Preston, Quei Tann, Austin Crute, Monique Kim and Anna Lore.

AMC's dark comedy Kevin Can F**k Himself will debut its second and final season August 22, according to a new trailer released Monday.

The series' second season will continue to follow the exploits of a wife (Anne Murphy) who teams up with her neighbor (Mary Hollis Inboden) to kill the wife's self-centered husband (Eric Petersen).

According to AMC, at the end of season one the murder plot gets foiled by the husband's best friend (Alex Bonifer), forcing the women to come up with a new plan. 

Also starring in the series are Brian Howe, Raymond Lee,  Jamie Denbo and Candice Coke.

Kevin Can F**K Himself is executive produced by Valerie Armstrong, Rashida Jones,  Will McCormack, Craig DiGregorio, Sean Clements and Colin Walsh, according to AMC.

AMC unveiled new stories of an zombie apocalypse in the latest trailer for its upcoming horror series Tales of the Walking Dead, debuting August 14. 

The six-episode anthology series -- the fourth in The Walking Dead franchise following the original The Walking Dead series, Fear The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: World Beyond -- offers stand-alone tales focusing on both new and established characters within the walker apocalypse, according to the network. AMC added that the series will provide viewers with a chance to see the apocalypse through "different eyes, discovering more worlds, mythos and mysteries of the Walking Dead."

HBO Max will debut its reimagining of the young adult-targeted Pretty Little Liars drama series on July 28, according to a new trailer released Wednesday.

The series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, takes place 20 years after the events of the original Pretty Little Liars series – which ran on Freeform from 2010-2017 – in which a series of tragic events almost ripped the fictional blue-collar town of Millwood apart, according to the streaming service. Now, in present day, a disparate group of teen girls find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago, as well as their own, said HBO Max.

The series stars Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco, as well as Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson, and Alex Aiono.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin executive producers include I. Hulu will examine the trials and tribulations of boxing icon Mike Tyson in a new limited series debuting August 25, according to a recently released series trailer.  

The eight-episode series stars Trevante Rhodes as the former heavyweight champion and chronicles the explores the tumultuous ups and downs of Tyson’s boxing career and personal life, from beloved world athlete to outcast and back again, according to Hulu. The series also stars Russell Hornsby, Harvey Keitel, Laura Harrier and Li Eubanks.

AMC Plus takes viewers back to the 1960s in a new trailer for its British espionage thriller The Ipcress File, which debuts May 19.

The six-part series, based on the Len Deighton novel and adapted by screenwriter John Hodge (Trainspotting), takes place in 1960s London and stars Joe Cole as British spy Harry Palmer, who is is recruited to work for an unorthodox British spy unit that wants his help to retrieve a missing scientist, said the streaming service.

Apple TV Plus unveiled a look into the world of dinosaurs in a trailer for its documentary series Prehistoric Planet, debuting on the streaming service May 23.

The five-part series showcases state-of-the-art technology to provide a look at the habits and inhabitants of ancient earth, according to the streaming service. The series’ trailer offers a glimpse of what viewers will see throughout the series, from a close look at a Tyrannasaurus rex family to a “accurate representation of a Vleociraptor, according to Apple TV Plus.

Amazon Prime Video’s new trailer for its animated series Undone continues to explore the elastic nature of reality in advance of the show’s season-two premiere on April 29.

The eight-episode animated series series, from BoJack Horseman creators Kate Purdy and Raphael Bob-Waksberg, continues the journey of Alma (Rosa Salazar) who, after a severe car accident, discovers the ability to bend the nature of reality, which she uses to find out the truth about her father’s death.

Paramount Plus looks to explore new worlds according to the official video trailer for its new series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which debuts on the streamer May 5.

The 10-episode series is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise prior to Captain Kirk and the original Star Trek series. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will follow Pike and his crew as they explore new worlds around the galaxy, said  the streamer.  

The series stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, as well as Rebecca Romijn and Ethan Peck. Other series stars include Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia and Babs Olusanmokun.

Disney Plus will launch its newest original series from Marvel Studios, Ms. Marvel, on June 8,  the streaming service said Tuesday. 

The series stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan (aka Ms. Marvel), a Muslim American teenager and Captain Marvel mega fan who gets super powers like the hero she’s always looked up to, according to Disney Plus.

The first look trailer focuses on the MCU’s newest super hero as she tries to balance high-school life, her family and her emerging super powers, said the streaming service. 

Also starring in the series are Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha.

Peacock Monday offered a first-look trailer at its upcoming drama series Bel-Air, launching on the streaming service Super Bowl Sunday, February 13.

The series, a reimagining of NBC’s 1990s comedy series Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and executive produced by Fresh Prince star Will Smith, takes a “fresh and raw approach to this world of swagger, style, and aspiration, while exploring Will’s complex journey through a current lens,” said the streaming service.

Bel-Air stars Jabari Banks, Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan Jones and Simone Joy Jones. Along with Smith, executive producers for the series include T.J. HBO Max has released a video trailer for The Immortal (L’Immortale), the feature film spin-off from international drama series Gomorrah.

The film, which debuts July 29, follows Naples mobster “Ciro Di Marzio” (Marco D'Amore) in Riga, Latvia, where he turns a low-level counterfeit goods syndicate into a major drug trafficking enterprise — despite the incalculable risks, according to HBO Max.

OWN has released a first-look trailer for the second season of its original drama series David Makes Man, premiering June 22. 

The series -- which in its first season followed David, a 14-year old prodigy torn between the potential of higher education and the reality of life on the streets -- in season two finds David in his 30s as a rising businessman facing an opportunity that  forces him to choose between the instincts that helped him survive or finding a new way to truly live, according to OWN.

Disney Plus Wednesday released a video trailer for its new original series Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which debut Sept. 25.

The eight-episode series, produced by National Geographic and narrated by actor Josh Gad, explores nature within Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT, said service officials.

The episodes dive into the details of animal care and conservation, and showcases the parks’ more than 300 species and 5,000-plus animals and the tasks animal care experts undertake to keep things running day and night, said Disney Plus.

HBO Friday debuted the official trailer for its new series I May Destroy You, which premieres this June.

I May Destroy You producer and creator Michaela Coel also stars in the six part series as Arabella Essiuedu, a famous internet writer who is forced to reassess everything in her life after being sexually assaulted in a nightclub, according to HBO officials.

Apple TV+ has released the latest video trailer for its drama series Home Before Dark, which debuts April 3.

The series follows a young girl who moves from the city of Brooklyn to the small lakeside town her father left behind. While there, her dogged pursuit of the truth leads her to unearth a cold case that everyone in town, including her own father, tried hard to bury, according to Apple TV+.

Apple's new streaming service Apple TV+ will launch November 1 with a slate of original content, including the Jason Momora-starrer See.

Apple TV+ will debut Nov. 1 and retail at $4.99 per month, according to published reports. The service will feature new shows every month and new shows every month and will be available in 100 countries at launch.

USA Thursday unveiled a first-look trailer at the second season of its reality series Temptation Island

The series, which is slated to return in October, follows four dating couples who face new tempting situations where each will decide whether to commit to a lifetime together – or ultimately give in to the temptation, according to network officials.

HBO will debut its new late night series A Black Lady Sketch Show on Aug. 2.

The new season of the series continues to follow the exploits of five friends on the cusp of adulthood trying to figure out how to grow up without growing apart who eventually come together to fight evil enemies both old and new, according to Netflix.

Netflix Monday released a new trailer for the new season of its female pro wrestling-themed series GLOW, which premieres Aug. 9

According to Netflix, the third season of the series follows the ladies of GLOW as they take the Vegas strip by storm. Now headliners at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, the women quickly realize Sin City is much more grind than glitter.

Amazon Prime Video Monday released the video trailer for the second season of its upcoming drama/suspense series Absentia, which premieres June 14 on the streaming service.

Absentia centers on FBI agent Emily Byrne (Stana Katic), who disappeared without a trace only to return six years later with no memory of her actions. In season two after tracking down and killing her abductor, Emily struggles to define her new normal as a mother and a survivor of six years of physical and mental torture, said Prime. 

HBO Monday released the official trailer for the final season of its fantasy/drama series Game Of Thrones.

The eighth season of the Emmy Award-winning series debuts on April 14, according to the network. 

BBC America will bring back its award-winning drama series Killing Eve on April 7.

Killing Eve's season two premiere will be simulcast on BBC America and AMC. 

Showtime Friday provided a video sneak peek of its new comedy series Black Monday, which will premiere in January 2019.

The series follows the events leading up to and after the historical 1987 Black Monday Wall Street crash, according to network officials. The 10-episode series stars Don Cheadle, Andrew Rannells and Regina Hall. The 10-episode series was created by David Caspe and Jordan Cahan, and is executive produced by Cheadle and Evan Goldberg.

Amazon Thursday released the official video trailer for the third season of its Emmy-winning drama series The Man In The High Castle, which debuts Oct. 5 on the streaming service. 

Based on Philip K. Dick’s award-winning 1962 alternate history novel, The Man in the High Castle explores what would have happened if the Allied Powers had lost World War II.

The Man in the High Castle -- executive produced by Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Richard Heus, Isa Dick Hackett, Daniel Percival and Eric Overmyer -- stars Alexa Davalos (Mob City), Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars), DJ Qualls (Z Nation), Joel De La Fuente (Hemlock Grove), Brennan Brown (Focus), Bella Heathcote (The Neon Demon) Chelah Horsdal (You Me Her) and Jason O’Mara (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.),Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Revenge) and Rufus Sewell (Victoria).

The annual Comic-Con International show commenced July 19 with cable networks and streaming services offering first-look trailers of upcoming series and specials.

Along with executive and talent-based panels, an estimated 100,000 Comic-Con attendees will also be treated to trailers for some of TV’s most popular and successful shows.

FX Thursday (July 19) dropped the official trailer for its upcoming drama series Mayans MC.

Mayans M.C. is the next chapter in Kurt Sutter’s Sons of Anarchy saga, FX said. Set in a post-Jax Teller world, Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo) is fresh out of prison and a prospect in the Mayans M.C. charter on the California-Mexico border. 

Now, EZ must carve out his new identity in a town where he was once the golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp. 

Sons of Anarchy ran on FX from 2008-2014.

Netflix Monday unveiled a new trailer video for the sixth season of its Emmy Award-winning series Orange Is the New Black.

Season six finds the ladies of Litchfield Penitentiary entering a new facility where they have to navigate new rules and power dynamics. Starting at the bottom, the women are getting hazed by inmates and tortured by guards, even as they face a slew of charges from the Litchfield Penitentiary riot, according to Netflix.
