Tian Lim, the former CTO of Hulu, recently joined Google Play as VP of user experience and product.

According to an update to Lim’s LinkedIn profile, spotted this week by Variety, he joined Google last month.

It’s been confirmed that Barry Steinglass, SVP of engineering at Hulu, has taken on the interim CTO role at Hulu as the company seeks a permanent successor.

Lim, who had joined Hulu in 2014, played a key role in developing and launching Hulu’s live TV service, which launched in beta form in May.

Prior to Hulu, Lim was an engineering exec Sony Network Entertainment International, and had also served as director of development at Microsoft and its Xbox platform.
