                                <figure class="van-image-figure pull-" data-bordeaux-image-check ><div class='image-full-width-wrapper'><div class='image-widthsetter' ><p class="vanilla-image-block" style="padding-top:56.25%;"><img id="j35jwuBNJ7hF3MtGQQc7h6" name="" alt="" src="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/j35jwuBNJ7hF3MtGQQc7h6.jpg" mos="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/j35jwuBNJ7hF3MtGQQc7h6.jpg" align="" fullscreen="" width="" height="" attribution="" endorsement="" class="pull-"></p></div></div></figure><p>Switzerland-based The Quickline Group has picked SeaChange International to provide the key tech underpinnings of a new multiscreen TV service that offers catch-up TV, network DVR and personalization components.</p><p>The service, called Quickline TV, will run on SeaChange’s multiscreen-capable Adrenalin video backoffice platform and tie into set-tops outfitted with Nucleus, SeaChange’s set-top box software that uses RDK-V, the video-facing version of the Reference Design Kit (RDK), the software platform for gateways being managed by Comcast, Liberty Global and Charter Communications (via its acquisition of Time Warner Cable).</p><p>SeaChange said it also helped with the deployment of Android and iOS apps for the Quickline TV service.</p><p>On the personalization end, the new multiscreen service will also support individual subscriber profiles.</p><p>Quickline uses a centralized video platform to support 25 independent regional cable operators that serve about 400,000 homes.</p><p>“With Quickline’s groundbreaking achievements in personalization, ease of enjoyment and RDK implementation, we believe the eyes of the media world will be on Quickline TV as a new ideal for video service provider evolution,” SeaChange CEO Ed Terino, said in a statement.</p>
