Kelley, who has shepherded some of today’s most buzzworthy dramas,” said Lisa Katz, president of scripted content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “We’re looking forward to partnering with Keshet Studios alongside Universal Television to bring this compelling, soulful mystery to life.”

Dror A. Mishani, Matthew Tinker, Keshet Studios’ Peter Traugott, Keshet International’s Alon Shrutzman, Keshet Media Group’s Avi Nir and Keshet Broadcasting’s Karni Ziv are executive producing the series.

“I was riveted by Dror’s novels and the character of Avraham Avraham, and jumped at the opportunity to bring both to life,” commented Kelley.

Published in Hebrew in 2011 and in the US in 2013, The Missing File is the first in a series of four novels featuring inspector Avraham Avraham.

All eight episodes of The Missing will be available via the Starz app and on Starz On Demand beginning Feb. 12, said the network.

“The Starz series The Girlfriend Experience and Flesh and Bone experienced considerable growth in binge watching over the course of their seasons, and we believe the same success will hold true for The Missing,” said Starz president and CEO Chris Albrecht in a statement. “The thriller aspect of the season is such an adrenaline rush, that we believe many viewers will want to watch more than one episode at a time. It’s truly addictive storytelling.”

In addition, Starz will offer a sneak preview of The Missing’s premiere episode on Feb. 6 during the network’s free preview weekend, said the network. The episode will also be available to Starz subscribers beginning Feb. 6 prior to its premiere on the linear channel via the Starz app and Starz On Demand as well as online at Starz.com, said network officials.
