Disney Channel Renews ‘Stuck In The Middle,’ ‘Bunk’d’

Disney Channel has greenlit new seasons of live action series Stuck In The Middle and Bunk’d, the network announced Thursday.

Season two of Stuck In The Middle, which stars Jenna Ortega as the middle child of seven brothers and sisters with distinctive personalities and conflicting schedules, will premiere Sept. 15, according to network officials.

Bunk’d – a spinoff of network series Jesse that follows siblings as they spend another summer at a rustic camp in Maine – will return for a third season in 2018.

In addition, Disney XD has renewed its hidden-camera prank series Walk The Prank for a third season, said network officials.

Disney Channel’s Stuck in the Middle will launch its sophomore season Feb. 3 with a movie event, the network said.

The movie, Stuck in the Waterpark – The Movie, will follow the exploits of the Diaz family as they embark on a family vacation at a waterpark, according to the network officials. The movie will also be available on on Disney Channel's multiple on-demand platforms including the Disney Channel app and Disney Channel VOD.

Stuck in the Waterpark – The Movie stars Jenna Ortega, Isaak Presley, Ronni Hawk, Kayla Maisonet, Nicolas Bechtel, Malachi Barton, Ariana Greenblatt, Cerina Vincent, and Joe Nieves.

Disney Channel will preview its new live-action series Stuck In The Middle on Feb. 14, the network said Friday.

The series, which stars Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin) as the middle child in a bustling household of nine, will officially launch in its regular Friday time slot beginning March 11, said network officials. The series also stars Isaak Presley (Austin & Ally); Ronni Haw; Kayla Maisonet (Dog With A Blog); Nicolas Bechtel (General Hospital); Malachi Barton (The Young and the Restless); Ariana Greenblatt (Liv and Maddie); Cerina Vincent (Mike and Molly); and Joe Nieves (How I Met Your Mother).

The Stuck in the Middle preview episode will also be available on WATCH Disney Channel and WATCHDisneyChannel.com users beginning Feb. 14, said network officials.
