Sarah Silverman hosts Stupid Pet Tricks, which has a sneak peek on TBS, Discovery, TruTV and Animal Planet Sunday, February 11 at 5 p.m. ET, before officially premiering the following day on TBS. The half-hour show is what TBS calls “a reimagining of the iconic David Letterman segment.”

Letterman is an executive producer.

Guest stars, besides the pets, include Jon Hamm, Will Ferrell, Judd Apatow, Howie Mandel, Jack McBrayer, Charlotte McKinney and Letterman himself. 

The Stupid Pet Tricks Tour starts February 3 and visits breweries around the nation. The shows are free and pets can audition for the TBS program.

The Stupid Pet Tricks Tour stops at Cigar City Brewing in Tampa February 3, then Deep Ellum Brewing in Dallas February 7, Meanwhile Brewery in Austin February 10, Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont, Colorado February 13, and another Oskar Blues in Brevard, North Carolina February 17.

Stupid Pet Tricks is executive produced by Jay Blumenfield and Tony Marsh of The Jay & Tony Show with Worldwide Pants, Incorporated. David Letterman, Sarah Silverman and Amy Zvi are executive producers. Merrill Markoe, who created the segment originally, is a consulting producer.

Sarah Silverman takes over as guest host on The Daily Show for the week starting November 6. 

Her guests include Joel Madden, Good Charlotte lead singer and host of Ink Master on Paramount Plus, on Monday, November 6; Cat Bohannon, author of Eve: How the Female Body Drove 200 Million Years of Human Evolution Tuesday, November 7; musician Margo Price Wednesday, November 8; and Judd Apatow, director and producer, Thursday November 9. Apatow is talking up his Peacock film Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain. 

The Daily Show is on Comedy Central. 

Charlamagne tha God hosted The Daily Show last week and Desus Nice did so the week before.

Leslie Jones takes the guest host role the week starting November 13. 

Trevor Noah stepped down as Daily Show host in December 2022. 

A comedian and actress, Silverman hosted The Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central from 2007 to 2010. Her movie roles include A Million Ways to Die in the West and School of Rock. 

Sarah Silverman is guest host on The Daily Show the week of February 13-16. The show is on Comedy Central nightly at 11 p.m. ET/PT.  

Guests for the week include Lizz Winstead, co-creator of The Daily Show, February 13; Rep. Maxwell Alejandro Frost, February 14; Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, February 15; and Jia Tolentino, writer at The New Yorker, February 16. 

Trevor Noah took over as Daily Show host in fall 2015, and signed off in December. Jon Stewart hosted from 1999 to 2015 and Craig Kilborn in 1996-1998. 

Chelsea Handler was the guest host the week of February 6. Wanda Sykes and D.L. Hughley were previous guest hosts. 

Comedy Central has not revealed the guest host for the week of February 20. Hasan Minhaj is guest host the week of February 27. Marlon Wayans guest hosts the week of March 6. Kal Penn hosts the week of March 13 and Al Franken takes the job the week of March 20. The week of March 27, it is John Leguizamo.

HBO will team with comedian Sarah Silverman for a new stand-up comedy special and late-night series pilot order, the network announced Monday.

Silverman -- whose 2013 HBO comedy special Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special -- will develop a late night series for the premium channel, which she described as “weighing in on the mishigas of the week and taking live video calls,” according to the network.

“Sarah is truly a comedic force of nature and we’re so happy to have her back on HBO,” said Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

Most recently, Silverman served as creator, executive producer and host of the Emmy-nominated Hulu talk series I Love You, America and she is currently in production on the Universal comedy Marry Me.

Silverman, Judd Apatow and Amy Zvi will serve as executive producers on the pilot for the series. Additional credits for the pilot and the stand-up special will be announced soon, according to HBO.

Hulu has picked up a new politically-themed series starring comedian Sarah Silverman, the OTT service announced Monday.

The Funny Or Die-produced series, I Love You, America, stars Silverman discussing the current political/emotional landscape of the country. According to Hulu, Silverman will look to “connect with people who may not agree with her personal opinions through honesty, humor, genuine interest in others, and not taking herself too seriously.”

Silverman will serve as executive producer of the series along with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Amy Zvi.
