SAG Nominees Brody, Cox Named Award Presenters

The Screen Actors Guild has announced a bevy of additional presenters for its 21st annual SAG Awards show to air this Sunday, Jan. 25.

Nominees Adrian Brody (History's Houdini, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Laverne Cox (Netflix's Orange Is the New Black), Benedict Cumberbatch (The BBC's Sherlock: His Last Vow, The Imitation Game) and Viola Davis (ABC's How to Get Away With Murder) are among the current crop of television actors slated to present.

Bryan Cranston, Eric Dane, Felicity Jones, Lenny Kravitz, Eddie Redmayne, Tony Revolori and J. K. Simmons round out the list of new presenters. The SAG Awards will be simulcast on TNT and TBS on Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. (ET).

'Modern Family,' 'Game Of Thrones' Top SAG Awards

Modern Family will compete for its fifth straight best comedy Screen Actors Guild Award in an otherwise wide open list of nominees in the various television categories.

Modern Family will vie against CBS’ Big Bang Theory, Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black and HBO’s Veep.

On the drama aside, Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, Game Of Thrones (pictured), Homeland and House of Cards will compete in a category that is notably missing AMC’s Mad Men, which will conclude its run next spring.
