Lingo, RuPaul’s word-twisting game show, returns for season two on CBS Friday, May 24. Two episodes air that night, and stream on Paramount Plus, too. 

The show sees teams of two face off in puzzle rounds to guess letters that eventually reveal words. New for season two, the winner in each episode goes on to compete in the next one. 

RuPaul Andre Charles is executive producer for RuCo, Inc. along with Layla Smith and Jilly Pearce for Objective Media Group. Ed de Burgh and Paul Wright exec produce for Triple Brew Media. 

Lingo had been a syndicated show in the late ‘80s, and came back on GSN years later. The show premiered in the U.K. a few years ago, and debuted on CBS in early 2023. 

Lingo is an All3Media / IDTV and Talpa TV format, distributed by All3Media International.

RuPaul hosts RuPaul’s Drag Race on MTV. 

Queen of the Universe, a RuPaul-produced competition series, will premiere on Paramount Plus Dec. 2. Fourteen of the world’s “fiercest queens,” in Paramount Plus’s words, come together to fight for the Queen of the Universe title and $250,000. 

“Each episode will showcase the contestants’ vocal prowess as they debut a new musical performance in front of a live audience and the series’ previously announced ‘Pop Diva Panel’ of judges,” said Paramount Plus, including Vanessa Williams, Michelle Visage, Trixie Mattel and Leona Lewis. 

Graham Norton hosts the show. 

The 14 Queens include Ada Vox of San Antonio, Aria B Cassadine of Atlanta, Betty Bitschlap of Copenhagen, Chy’enne Valentino of Chicago, Gingzilla of Sydney, Australia, Grag Queen of Canela, Brazil, Jujubee of Boston, La Voix of London, Leona Winter of Paris, Matante Alex of Montreal, Novaczar of New York, Rani Ko-He-Nur of Mumbai, Regina Voce of Mexico City and Woowu of Guangzhou, China. 

Queen of the Universe is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and World of Wonder, the producers of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race begins on VH1 Friday, Jan. 1. Thirteen “fabulous queens,” in VH1’s words, vie for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar” and $100,000. 

“Competing safely and fiercely, our 13 queens proved that it takes more than a global pandemic to keep a good queen down,” said host and executive producer RuPaul. 

RuPaul’s Drag Race will offer a “Meet the Queens” livestream on YouTube at 1 p.m. ET on Dec. 9. The contestants include Denali of Chicago, Elliott with 2 Ts of Las Vegas and Gottmik of Los Angeles. 

After-show RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked will air following Drag Race. 

RuPaul’s Drag Race won six Emmys this year. 

RuPaul’s Drag Race has been greenlit for a 13th season on VH1. Hosted by RuPaul, the show "will welcome a new batch of drag queens ready to prove why they’re 'America's Next Drag Superstar,'" said VH1.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars will be back for season six, and after-show Untucked will follow the new seasons of both series. 

“Drag queens have been on the frontlines of many challenging times in our history,” said RuPaul, who is an executive producer.  “RuPaul’s Drag Race 13, All Stars 6 and new seasons of Untucked will offer more opportunities for our queens to rise to the occasion and spread the love.”

Jaida Essence Hall won season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and Shea Couleé won season five of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. 

RuPaul’s Drag Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and Untucked are produced by VH1 and World of Wonder. 

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue, about six legendary drag queens in a Las Vegas residency, begins Aug. 21 on VH1. 

Logo has greenlight an eighth season of its hit series RuPaul Drag Race, two weeks after debuting the show’s seventh campaign.

The competition series will begin production of its eighth season today (March 20), according to network officials. The March 2 seventh season premiere of the series drew nearly 350,000 viewers in prime time and posted a 20% increase among adults 18-49 compared to the season six debut, said network officials.

“After a record breaking year of ratings and viewership, its only fitting we would continue to rise with our first lady, RuPaul” said Chris McCarthy, GM of MTV2 and Logo TV in a statement. “From the cultural phenomenon of Drag Race, our partnership with the visionary Russell T. Davies, and the creation of a new documentary division, we are making Logo TV the home of today’s most innovative storytellers.”

GSN will air a special surrounding the Sept. 24 finale of its reality series Skin Wars, the network announced Monday.

The Skin Wars Reunion Show, which will air immediatly after the Skin Wars season ends, will welcome back all of the talented season one contestants, as well as Skin Wars judges and bod-painting icons Craig Tracy and Robin Slonia.

The show will also highlight the series’ most memorable moments and go behind-the-scenes to delve into relationships that evolved druing the show's freshman campaign, said network officials.

The reunion special will also feature a “sneak peek” of RuPaul’s new song, Color Me Love (featuring Rebecca Romijn), said network officials.  

As part of the reunion, viewers will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance via Facebook and Twitter about their favorite episode, challenge, contestant, model and more, with questions to be answered on-air, said the network.
