Stevie Nicks, Adam Levine, Carrie Underwood, Common, Ice-T, LL Cool J, Miguel, Queen Latifah and Sia are lined up to either present or perform at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which streams live on Disney Plus Friday, November 3. The event happens at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. 

ABC will air the primetime special 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Monday, January 1. That special goes for three hours. 

Already announced stars who will show up on stage in Brooklyn include Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Dave Matthews, Elton John, H.E.R., New Edition and St. Vincent.

The 2023 inductees are Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners, along with DJ Kool Herc and Link Wray for Musical Influence; Chaka Khan, Al Kooper and Bernie Taupin for Musical Excellence; and Don Cornelius for the Ahmet Ertegun Award. 

The 2023 show will be produced and directed by Joel Gallen and Tenth Planet Productions. Executive producers are John Sykes, Joel Peresman & Joel Gallen.

It is the 38th annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The Hall of Fame is in Cleveland.  

The event used to air on HBO. 

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is moving from HBO to Disney Plus and ABC.

The star-studded music event will stream live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the first time on Disney Plus on Friday, November 3. Last year, the ceremony was available on HBO and HBO Max about two weeks after it was recorded.

ABC will air a special featuring selected performances and other standout moments on January 1, 2024.

“The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony has been the home to some of the most memorable moments in music history and celebrates the immeasurable impact these artists have had on the industry and culture,” Rob Mills, executive VP, unscripted and alternative entertainment at Walt Disney Television, said. “We are so excited to offer audiences a front-row seat when they tune in on Disney Plus and ABC.”

This year’s telecast is expected to have performances by Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, Chaka Khan and Willie Nelson as well as special guests Brandi Carlile, Dave Matthews, H.E.R., Elton John, Chris Stapleton, St. Vincent and New Edition

A&E steps back into the live documentary arena with the April 22 debut of Live Rescue, one of several new and returning series making their debuts this week.

Live Rescue, a spinoff of A&E’s successful series Live PD from Big Fish Entertainment, will follow first responders from across the country as they put their lives on the line responding to emergency rescue calls, according to network executives.

Also this week AMC’s The Son, a family saga based on Philipp Meyer’s best-seller of the same name starring Pierce Brosnan, returns for its second and final season on April 27, said the network.
