The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns on Bravo May 19. It is season 11, and Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley and Garcelle Beauvais are in the cast. “Southern socialite” Sutton Stracke appears in the season as well, and Crystal Kung Minkoff and Kathy Hilton are new to the series. 

“The women are ecstatic to expand their social bubbles after months of isolation at home,” said Bravo. “This elation is short lived, however, when Erika Girardi shocks the group with news that she is filing for divorce from her husband of 21 years and is suddenly entangled in a web of legal proceedings. Needing the support of her friends now more than ever, Erika instead finds herself fielding questions from the women who are at odds about whether they can stick up for her.”

Among other dramas, Richards struggles with pending empty-nest status, Rinna looks for quiet time with her daughters, Kemsley designs a line of fashion-forward wedding dresses and Beauvais focuses on her teenage twins and her grandson. 

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is produced by Evolution Media for Bravo. Douglas Ross, Alex Baskin, Bill Fritz, John Carr, and Tina Gazzerro Clapp are the executive producers, along with Andy Cohen.

Bravo has given a greenlight to a second season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, the network said Thursday.

 The first season of the series averaged 2.1 million viewers (Nielsen live+3 data), making it the most watched freshman series since The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills debuted in 2010, according to network officials.

The series, produced by True Entertainment with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, Bianca Barnes-Williams, Ashley McFarlin Buie serving as executive producers, will air a Reunion Part Two special this Sunday (April 17).

Syfy's WWE! SmackDown series was the most social entertainment-based show on television Tuesday, accoridng to Nielsen.

The pro wrestling series drew 52,000 tweets reaching a unqiue Twitter audience of 1.2 million users, according to Nielsen's daily Twitter TV Ratings. SmackDown out-tweeted Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which drew 8,000 tweets reaching 271,000 unique Twitter users for second place.

HGTV's Fixer Upper, Showtime's Inside The NFL and ABC's special The Year: 2015 rounded out the top five most tweeted shows during the day.

ESPN's Toledo-Temple Marmot Boca Raton Bowl reached more Twitter users than any other live sports event on Tuesday, said Nielsen.

The Real Housewives franchise continues to deliver big ratings numbers for Bravo.

Tuesday night’s season five premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills garnered 2 million viewers, an increase of 25% over the show’s season four premiere, said network officials.

The premiere also marked the most watched season debut for the show in more than three years, according to the network.

The Beverly Hills debut comes on the heels of Nov. 9 The Real Housewives of Atlanta season seven premiere, which set a Bravo ratings record for a series debut with 4.5 million viewers.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere along with a 1.4 million viewer showing for Watch What Happens Live immediately after Housewives helped Bravo earn its best Tuesday primetime performance in more than two years, said the network.
