Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta starts Dec. 6 on Bravo. Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore return, and are joined by Drew Sidora, who Bravo calls “a triple threat”--actor, singer, housewife. 

Marlo Hampton and Tanya Sam return as friends of the cast, along with new friend LaToya Ali.

Bailey is figuring out how to throw her wedding amidst COVID obstacles. Moore’s “fairytale romance” is on the rocks, so she remodels her house. Burruss’s restaurant empire is booming and Williams lends her voice to the Black Lives Matter movement. 

Sidora, for her part, is “ready to make some waves and spice things up,” said Bravo. 

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is produced by Truly Original with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, Luke Neslage, Joye Chin, Glenda Cox, Julie “Bob” Lombardi and Anthony Sylvester the executive producers. Andy Cohen exec produces too. 

ESPN’s NFL Monday Night Football dominated African-American viewing for the week of Nov. 6 to Nov. 12 – one of four programs from the sports network to finish in the top 10, according to Nielsen. 

ESPN’s Nov. 6 coverage of the Green Bay Packers-Detroit Lions game drew 1.7 million African-American viewers, topping all cable shows for the week. ESPN’s Nov. 11 Alabama–Mississippi State college football game finished 6th for the week, while its two Nov. 8 live NBA game telecasts finished in the 8th and 9th spot respectively, according to Nielsen.

Bravo’s Nov. 12 episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta was second for the week, followed by VH1’s Nov. 6 Love And Hip Hop show and OWN’s Nov. 7 episode of If Loving You Is Wrong.

Bravo’s freshman series Xscape Still Kickin It finished fifth with its Nov. 12 episode. OWN’s Nov. 8 Queen Sugar show finished in 7th place, and TNT’s Nov. 9 NBA basketball telecast rounded out the top 10, according to Nielsen.

The Real Housewives franchise continues to deliver big ratings numbers for Bravo.

Tuesday night’s season five premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills garnered 2 million viewers, an increase of 25% over the show’s season four premiere, said network officials.

The premiere also marked the most watched season debut for the show in more than three years, according to the network.

The Beverly Hills debut comes on the heels of Nov. 9 The Real Housewives of Atlanta season seven premiere, which set a Bravo ratings record for a series debut with 4.5 million viewers.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere along with a 1.4 million viewer showing for Watch What Happens Live immediately after Housewives helped Bravo earn its best Tuesday primetime performance in more than two years, said the network.

Bravo’s The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Sunday drew the network’s highest-rated season premiere ever with nearly 4 million viewers, network official said Tuesday.

The season seven premiere of the series drew 3.8 million viewers and more than 2.2 million adult 18-49 viewers, according to Nielsen. The series posted a 23% increase among total viewers and 24% increase among adults 18-49 compared to its November 2013 season six premiere, according to Bravo.

The episode was also the most watched show for the week of Nov. 3 to Nov. 9 among African-American viewers, drawing 2.5 million viewers, according to Nielsen.

Also Sunday, the network’s Watch What Happens Live series, which featured Real Housewives Of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, drew 2.6 million viewers and 1.4 million adults 18-49, said the network.
