Univision took the Thursday primetime ratings title, according to Nielsen overnights with a 0.8 and a 5 share. ABC, CBS and Fox split second with a 0.6/4. Univision had the Premio Lo Nuestro 2021 Awards across prime from 8 to 10 p.m.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune did well for ABC with a 0.8/5, up a tenth from the week before. The Chase followed with a 0.6, same as last week followed by The Hustler at a 0.4, no change as well.

CBS had Young Sheldon and B Positive at a 0.8, same as last week. Mom was down a tenth of a point at a 0.6. The Unicorn was also down a tenth to a 0.4 and Clarice saw a 33% decrease from last week's premiere to a 0.4.

Fox had Hell's Kitchen stay the same at a 0.7. Call Me Kat also stayed the same at a 0.5 and Last Man Standing stayed the same at a 0.4.

NBC ranked third with a 0.5/3. Mr. Mayor was up a tenth from the week before to a 0.5 followed by a repeat of Young Rock. Law & Order: SVU rated a 0.7 and Dateline NBC was up 66% from last week at a 0.5.

The CW and Telemundo tied with a 0.2/1. Both Walker and Legacies stayed at the same at 0.2 and 0.1. Exatlon Estados Unidos stayed the same at 0.3. La Suerte de Loli was down a tenth to a 0.2. Buscando A Frida was also down a tenth to 0.2. 

Univision said that T-Mobile has returned for the ninth-straight year as presenting sponsor of its long-running music awards show Premio Lo Nuestro.

Other sponsors for this year’s broadcast, which airs Thursday night, include the Ford F-150, H&R Block, McDonald’s, State Farm and Walmart.

“Premio Lo Nuestro is one of the biggest nights on television and this year’s celebration promises to be more special than ever,” said Donna Speciale, president of advertising sales and marketing, Univision. “I’m thrilled that so many great brand partners are once again joining us as we come together to celebrate hope, resilience and the best in Latin music.”

As part of its presenting sponsorship, T-Mobile will be giving fans a virtual opportunity to accompany performer Camilio and social influencer Evaluna Montaner de Echeverry to the show. Fans will also be able to join their favorite artists on the Magenta Carpet through a 5G-powered on-site activation during the Noche de Estrellas pre-show on Univision.

State Farm will give fans a VIP experience through a three part social series The Making of PLN -- Everyone is VIP hosted by Claissa Molina, the former Miss Dominican Republic and a correspondent for Univision. 

Custom vignettes will showcase the new Ford F-150 during the show.  Ford will also be featured in split-screen and countdown ads, as well as sponsored billboards.

Premio Lo Nuestro will be hosted by Chiquinquirá Delgado, Jose Ron, and Yuri. 

Last year, Premio Lo Nuestro averaged 3.0 million total viewers on Univision.

Univision has started to set the lineup for the 28th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro, with bachata sensation Prince Royce, reggaetón star Yandel and veteran songstress Thalía confirmed to perform at the network’s Feb. 18 celebration.

Univision also tapped veteran Colombian artist Carlos Vives to receive the “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia” award for career achievements. Vives is the winner of five Premio lo Nuestro awards and is nominated this year in the Video of the Year category for the song “Tierra del olvido.”

Premio lo Nuestro will air from Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. ET, following an hour-long pre-awards special. West Coast viewers can watch a delayed broadcast at 8 p.m. PT.

Also set to perform are Latin urban act Gente de Zona, nominated under the Tropical category for Group or Duo of the Year and Video of the Year; regional Mexican artist Gerardo Ortiz, who is nominated in four categories: Regional Mexican Song of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Norteño Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year in the general category; and urban reggaeton singer Maluma.

Prince Royce is nominated in the Tropical music category for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Artist of the Year; Thalía is nominated for Album of the Year and Female Artist of the Year in the pop/rock category; and Yandel is nominated for Artist of the Year in the urban music category.

Unlike the Latin Grammys, winners of Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina are chosen by popular vote. Nominees are determined based on U.S. Latin airplay data provided by Mediabase/Media Monitors, Big Champagne and Buzz Angle Music, with an eligibility period of Sept. 1, 2014 to Aug. 30, 2015.

Fans were able to vote for their favorites from Dec. 1-20, 2015 at PremioLoNuestro.com.

Univision will announce more performers and presenters over the coming weeks.

Rap artist Pitbull (pictured), performing with up-and-coming act Gente de Zona, will open night’s Premio Lo Nuestro a laMúsica Latina — the Latin world’s version of the American Music Awards.

Univision, which will broadcast the show live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, set the final bill for the Feb. 19 awards show last week. Later in the show, legendary Mexican pop-rock band Maná is set to premiere a new song — “Mi Verdad” — with Colombian superstar Shakira.

Also in the line-up are Colombian pop-rocker Juanes, performing his new single “Juntos”; tropical music legend Juan Luis Guerra, performing his current single “Tus Besos”; Mexican pop balladeers Camila; and up-and-coming Latin pop singer J Balvin.

Reggae star Sean Paul, bachata king Romeo Santos, pop singer Ricky Martin, crooner Marco Antonio Solís, and super-popular reggaetón singer Wisin, nominated for the first time as a soloist, are also scheduled to make appearances.

The biggest star of the night is Italian songstress Laura Pausini, who will be honored for her 20-plus-year career with the Premio a la Trayectoria Musical. Meanwhile, veteran pop singer Ricardo Arjona will be presented with the prestigious Premio a la Excelencia award, which honors artists for their impressive careers and contributions to Latin music.

“Without a doubt, this is one of the most impressive lineups of top artists ever in the history of Premio Lo Nuestro,” said Univision Communications president of programming and content Alberto Ciurana.  “Our viewers are in for another unforgettable evening of the best in Latin music and star-studded entertainment.”

Premio Lo Nuestro will be hosted by network personality Galilea Montijo and veteran actor Cristián de la Fuente. Singer and actress Maite Perroni will join the Univision team as a red carpet and social media host during the ceremony.
