History will partner with actor/director Peter Berg (Lone Survivor) for a docu-series focusing on the U.S. Special Forces. 

The eight-episode docu-series to premiere later this year will follow men and women from the US Special Forces as they reveal, through first-hand accounts, details into their heroic missions.

This series, produced by Berg’s Film 45, will be executively produced by Peter Berg, Matt Goldberg and Brandon Carroll, as well as History’s Matt Ginsburg and Elaine Frontain Bryant, said network officials.
