Outdoor Channel said it will be available as part of a nearly five-week free preview on Dish Network beginning today (Sept. 3), giving all subscribers of the satellite TV giant access to its particular brand of outdoor lifestyle programming.

Outdoor recently completed a carriage renewal agreement with Dish and is available on pay TV provider’s America’s Top 250, America’s Everything Pack, Smart Pack and Dish Outdoor Pack. The preview, available on Dish Channel 396, will continue through Oct. 6 and offer such programming as Guntucky, Jim Shockey’s Uncharted; and MidwayUSA’s Gun Stories featuring actor Joe Mantegna.

Dish customers can also watch clips of Outdoor Channel shows on Dish Studio Channel 102, including an in-depth interview with Fight to Survive host Craig DeMartino.
