                                <p>Netflix will revive producer/director Spike Lee’s 1986 film <em>She’s Gotta Have It</em> as an original series, the streaming service confirmed Thursday.</p><p>The 10-episode series will give a new look to the film’s storyline focused on twentysomething Nola Darling and her juggling of three love interests while trying to find her own voice and indentity, according to Netflix.</p><p>Lee will be involved in the development of the series. <em>She’s Gotta Have It</em> was Lee’s first original film, and grossed more than $7 million at the box office despite only costing $175,000 to create.</p><p>Lee in 2015 teamed with Amazon to distribute original film <em>Chi-raq</em>, which ran both in theaters and on Amazon's Prime streaming service. </p>
