Viewers and industry observers will watch closely tomorrow's (May 27) much- anticipated launch of new streaming service HBO Max, which will offer more than 100,000 hours of programming from the Warner Media library.

New HBO Max series set to debut on May 27 include Love Life, a scripted romantic comedy-themed series that will follow one character looking for love (pictured); The Not Too Late Show With Elmo, a family-friendly talk show featuring Sesame Street character Elmo; and On The Record, a documentary that chronicles women who have accused hip-hop entrepreneur Russell Simmons of sexual assault.

Series returning to television include the May 27 premiere of BET’s sophomore drama American Soul, which follows the life of Soul Train founder Don Cornelius, and the May 29 season two debut of Ramy, Hulu’s Golden Globe-winning comedy starring Ramy Youssef.

Fox News To Launch ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ On Nov. 14

Fox News will launch its new Tucker Carlson Tonight series on Nov. 14, the network said Thursday.

The series will feature the veteran Fox News political contributor as he tackles issues largely uncovered by the mainstream media, said network officials. Carlson joined Fox News in 2009 after stints at MSNBC and CNN.

The series replaces On The Record With Brit Hume, which launched in September after Hume took over the show for the departed Grata Van Susteren.

The announcement comes on the heels of Fox News’ highly rated election night and post election coverage. The network delivered 7.8 million viewers for Hillary Clinton’s concession speech Wednesday during the 11 am to noon time period, and 5.9 million viewers in primetime, besting all cable news networks, according to Nielsen.

Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Leaves Company After 14 Years

Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren is leaving the network after 14 years, according to the network.

Fox News’ senior political analyst Brit Hume will take over for Van Susteren as host of daily news show On the Record beginning tonight and through the election, according to Fox News co-presidents Jack Abernethy and Bill Shine.

Fox did not give a reason for the departure of Van Susteren, who joined Fox News from CNN in 2002.

The announcement comes on the heels of 21st Century Fox’s move to settle the Gretchen Carlson sexual harassment lawsuit filed in July that led to the resignation of Fox News CEO Roger Ailes.

Abernethy and Shine said of Van Susteren’s departure: “We are grateful for Greta's many contributions over the years and wish her continued success.”

Hume has served as Fox News’ senior political analyst since 2008. Prior to that Hume served as anchor of the network's Special Report series for more than a decade.

"As one of the best political analysts in the industry, Brit is the ideal choice to host a nightly political program while the most dynamic and captivating election in recent history unfolds,” Abernethy and Shine said in a statement. “Having Brit at the helm of this show will enable Fox News to continue on track to have its highest-rated year ever as the network dominates the cable news landscape."

FNC’s Van Susteren to Interview Trump in Wisconsin

Fox News Channel's Greta Van Susteren will host a Town Hall with GOP candidate Donald Trump April 3 from Milwaukee.

The Wisconsin primary is April 5, with 42 delegates at stake, and Trump is trailing Sen. Ted. Cruz in the state in the latest polls.

Both Van Susteren, host and moderator of On the Record, and audience members will question Trump. Van Susteren is a native of Wisconsin and, FNC said, is among the longest-serving anchors in cable news.
