Hallmark Channel has booked a return trip to the Northpole for holiday season 2015.

Just a little over a week after Northpole bowed to the network's top audience of 2014, Hallmark Channel will again work with Hallmark Cards on Northpole, with the telefilm serving as a tentpole of its annual "Countdown to Christmas" programming gambit.

In the second iteration, Lori Loughlin, who stars in the network's When Calls The Heart series and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' telefilm Sugar Cookie Murder will play a woman who receives some unexpected Xmas cheer and magic from a team of elves headed by the cheerful Clementine, a role reprised by Bailee Madison (pictured, right).

“Developing a hugely successful film in partnership with Hallmark Cards was a tremendous accomplishment and we look forward to creating an even more spectacular second installment with Northpole 2 by casting two of the network’s most beloved leading ladies, Lori Loughlin and Bailee Madison,” said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president of programming for Crown Media Family Networks.

The Nov. 15 premiere of Northpole averaged a 3.5 household rating and 4 million viewers, according to Nielsen data, to shined as Hallmark Channel's most-watched and highest-rated movie to date in 2014 among households and viewers, plus adults and women 25 to 54.

The Hallmark Channel is set to air a plethora of holiday specials from November to December, including a special presentation, 12 New Movies of Christmas from Dec. 25-26.

NorthPole strives to turn families' spirits around after much holiday skepticism and stress. The telefilm, premiering Nov. 15 at 8 p.m., starsTiffani Thiessen, Josh Hopkins, Bailee Madison, Max Charles, Candice Glover, Robert Wagner and Jill St. John.

One Christmas Eve, is the first presentation to air since the network announced it would become the new home for all Hallmark Hall of Fame debuts. Anne Heche, Kevin Daniels, Carlos Gomez and Brian Tee star in the single mother's quest to make her children's Christmas special. The movie is set to premiere on Nov. 30 at 8 p.m.

A world premiere for the network, Christmas Under Wraps, airs Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. Starring Candace Cameron-Bure, Brian Doyle-Murray and Robert Pine, the special follows Lisa in her once-planned life turned upside down. Lisa (Candace Cameron-Bure) must choose between everything she's ever wanted or the new life she has made for herself.

The treasure trove of telefilms under the network's annual "Countdown to Christmas" play drives Hallmark Channel ratings throughout November and December.

Hallmark Channel has scooped a deal with ice cream retailer Baskin-Robbins to support its original Christmas telefilm, NorthPole.

Beginning Nov. 1, participating Baskin-Robbins shops nationwide -- nearly 2,500 across 43 states -- will open their doors to NorthPole-inspired ice cream treats, including Winter White Chocolate ice cream, which features white chocolate-flavored ice cream, swirled with cherry pieces in chocolate-flavored coating and a cherry ribbon.

Baskin-Robbins shops will also feature a special Winter White Chocolate Brownie Sundae and Winter White Chocolate Milkshake during the month of November, as well as promotional signage driving tune in to the movie’s premiere on Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
