TNT has renewed its hit fantasy-adventure series The Librarians for a sophomore season, the network announced Thursday.

The series, based on TNT’s original movie franchise of the same name, averaged 11.4 million viewers across multiple platform plays during its freshman season in finishing as basic cable’s second most watched series of 2014 behind TNT’s The Last Ship.

TNT has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to launch later this year. The Librarians is produced by Electric Entertainment, with executive producers Dean Devlin, John Rogers, Marc Roskin and Noah Wyle.
