HBO’s The Newsroom concluded its three-year run on Sunday night, drawing 1.6 million viewers, its best performance of its final campaign.

The delivery market a 33% bump from the 1.2 million who watched the show’s premiere this season, according to Nielsen data.  HBO says the Alan Sorkin drama drew 1.9 million when adding in two replays on Dec. 14.

Newsroom’s third season averaged a gross audience of 5 million viewers per episode, across encores and platforms.
