                                <p>History will debut its unscripted series <em>In Search Of</em> on Friday, July 20, network officials said.</p><figure class="van-image-figure pull-" data-bordeaux-image-check ><div class='image-full-width-wrapper'><div class='image-widthsetter' ><p class="vanilla-image-block" style="padding-top:56.25%;"><img id="MWJgMZXJVYAv3yX63doTG9" name="" alt="Zachary Quinto hosts the new &#34;In Search Of.&#34;" src="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/MWJgMZXJVYAv3yX63doTG9.jpg" mos="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/MWJgMZXJVYAv3yX63doTG9.jpg" align="" fullscreen="" width="" height="" attribution="" endorsement="" class="pull-"></p></div></div><figcaption itemprop="caption description" class="pull-"><span class="caption-text">Zachary Quinto hosts the new "In Search Of." </span></figcaption></figure><p>The investigative series, inspired by the classic <em>In Search Of …</em> show that ran in syndication and on Sci-Fi Channel (now Syfy) from 1997 to 1982, will explore all manner of mysterious phenomena around the world, according to officials.</p><p>The 10-episode reboot will be hosted by actor Zachary Quinto (<em>Star Trek</em>, <em>Snowden</em>), and each episode will investigate a different subject within a dynamic theme – such as super-humans, alien life, artificial intelligence, Atlantis, time travel, mysterious creatures – using new technology, new locations and deeper analysis, History said.</p><p><em>In Search Of</em> is produced by Propagate Content, Universal Television Alternative Studio and Before the Door Pictures, with FremantleMedia International distributing the series globally. Quinto will serves as executive producer along with Ben Silverman, Howard Owens, Brett-Patrick Jenkins, Eddie Schmidt and Zachary Behr.</p>

                                <p>A&E has teamed with actor Rob Lowe to create a non-fiction series that explores unsolved mysteries, the network said Monday.</p><p>The series, <em>The Lowe Files</em>, will star Lowe and his two sons, Matthew and John Owen as they seek out will seek out a mysterious story or spooky legend and immerse themselves in the exploration and debate of the experience, said network officials.</p><p>The nine-episode series will debut later this summer, according to A&E.</p><p>Lowe will also serve as excutive producer of <em>The Lowe Files</em> along with Tom Forman, Jon Beyer, Brad Bishop and Douglas McCallie, according to A&E. Critical Contnet will produce the series. </p><p>“Watching Rob, Matthew and John Owen take this awesome adventure together, something that has long been a part of their family narrative, is the kind of organic programming that our viewers respond to best,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming for A&E Network in a statement. “Their explorations will certainly lead them to dynamic and exciting places, but a nostalgic journey for a father and his sons is what’s at the heart of the series’ underlying mission.”</p>
